1. Delivery fee
For each DSD delivery the customer is charged a delivery fee: the per-km rate shown in your dashboard multiplied by the road distance from your outlet to the customer's shared location, rounded up to the next rupee. It is added to the customer's total and shown to them before they pay.
The same per-km rate applies to every business unless we agree a special rate with yours; your dashboard always shows the rate that applies to you. A change of rate applies to orders quoted after it.
The customer pays the whole total - items and delivery fee - to your UPI id or QR. You collect the delivery fee on our behalf.
2. Daily invoice and payment
- Every morning we send you an invoice (on WhatsApp, by email and in your dashboard) for the deliveries completed the previous day (India time), and any earlier ones not yet invoiced. It lists each order with the customer's name and number, the food amount, the delivery fee and the total the customer paid you.
- You keep the food amount. You pay us only the delivery fees, which we use to pay the partners.
- Each invoice is due within the number of days shown on it (2 days unless stated). Pay it with the Pay now button in the message or from Settings → Billing in your dashboard.
- If an invoice is not paid by its due date, Daily Samvaad Delivery is paused for your outlets - new orders fall back to your own delivery - until every overdue invoice is paid. Your SAMVAAD dashboard, WhatsApp assistant and online store keep working. Paying switches DSD back on at once.
- A delivery you took back to deliver yourself is not billed. Invoices issued before 8 October 2026 were monthly and are paid the same way.
3. Your part
- Keep the outlet's location pin and phone number correct, and confirm a payment only when it has really reached you.
- Have the order packed and ready, and hand it only to the partner shown on your Orders page.
- Do not ask a partner to collect money from the customer, and do not make side deals with partners.
- For a DSD order the manual delivery and status buttons are off; the partner's START and DELIVER update the customer.
4. Problems with a delivery
You can chat with and call the partner, rate them, block them from your future orders, and report them to us. We investigate every report. Refunds to your customer are yours to give, as the customer paid you; where a delivery failed through a partner's fault, contact us and we will settle the delivery fee fairly.
5. Availability
DSD depends on partners being available near your outlet. If nobody accepts an order within a few minutes we tell you, and you can wait, search again, or deliver it yourself. We may limit DSD to certain areas and distances.
