Daily Samvaad Delivery Privacy Policy

What we collect from delivery partners and about the deliveries they make, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and your rights.

Last updated: 8 October 2026 Effective: 8 October 2026

Daily Samvaad Delivery ("DSD", "we") is operated by RecursX Innovations Private Limited (Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India). This policy covers the Daily Samvaad Delivery app, the delivery-partner programme, and the information about customers and shops that a delivery needs.

We collect only what we need to verify partners, run deliveries safely, pay partners and resolve problems. We never sell personal data.

Verified, not exposed

KYC documents are seen only by our verification team - never by shops or customers.

Location only while working

We read your location while you are online or on a delivery, never in the background otherwise.

Never sold

Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

Payouts protected

Withdrawals need a WhatsApp code; UPI changes are held and checked.

1. What we collect from delivery partners

When you sign up

  • Identity: your name, mobile number (verified by a one-time code sent by SMS), date of birth, city and address, one or two emergency contacts (their name and number, which you give us with their agreement), and optionally your email and PAN.
  • Photos and documents: a photo of you, a photo of your vehicle showing its number plate, your driving licence (front and back) and, optionally, your vehicle's RC. We do not ask for or store an Aadhaar card.
  • Vehicle: type, number, make/model and colour.
  • Payout details: your UPI id.

While you use the app

  • Location: your precise location while you are online (to offer nearby orders) and during a delivery (to guide you, to check you are at the store when you press START and at the customer when you press DELIVER, and to show the shop and customer where the parcel is). We do not collect location when you are offline.
  • Delivery records: each order offered, accepted, cancelled, picked up and delivered, with times and positions, and the distance travelled.
  • Wallet and payouts: earnings, adjustments, withdrawals and their status.
  • Messages: chats between you and the shop about an order.
  • Device: app version and device type, used to keep you signed in safely and to sign you out remotely.
  • Online time: how long the app is online each day, shown to you as your online duty time.
  • SOS: if you press SOS, your location at that moment and the time, sent to our team so we can help you. Sending your location to your emergency contact happens only when you choose it, through WhatsApp on your phone.
  • App language: English or Hindi, kept on your phone.
  • Ratings, blocks and reports made by shops about deliveries you made.

2. Information about customers and shops

To deliver an order we show you the store's name, address, phone number and location, and - only after you accept - the customer's name, phone number, delivery address and shared location, and the items to collect.

Once a delivery ends we hide the customer's phone number and exact address from your order history. Customers receive WhatsApp updates from the shop with your first name, photo, phone number and vehicle details, so they know who is at the door.

3. Why we use it

  • To verify that you are who you say you are and that your vehicle and licence are valid (legitimate use for safety and legal compliance).
  • To offer you orders, guide you to the store and the customer, and confirm pickups and deliveries.
  • To pay you, including any incentive bonuses, and keep an accurate earnings ledger.
  • To keep customers, shops and partners safe: responding to an SOS, investigating reports, preventing fraud such as fake locations, and enforcing our terms.
  • To meet legal obligations, including tax and record-keeping.
  • To improve the service in aggregated, de-identified form.

4. Who we share it with

  • The shop and its customer for a delivery you accept: your first name, photo, phone number, vehicle details, rating and live position during the trip. Never your documents, address or licence number.
  • Our service providers, under contract and only for these purposes: cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services, India), WhatsApp messaging (Meta), SMS codes (Twilio), maps and routing (Google) and payouts (Razorpay / RazorpayX).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.

5. How long we keep it

  • Location points recorded during deliveries: 30 days, then deleted.
  • KYC documents: for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for the period the law requires for verification and dispute records.
  • Delivery, wallet and payout records: 8 years, as financial records.
  • Chat messages: 1 year after the delivery.

6. Security

Documents are stored privately and shown to our team only through short-lived links. Signing in and deleting your account use one-time codes sent by SMS, and device sessions you or we can end at any time. Withdrawals and UPI changes need a fresh code on WhatsApp, and a changed UPI id is held for review before money is sent to it.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may ask to see, correct or erase your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Most details can be corrected in the app (a change to your vehicle or licence is checked again). To delete your account, see the Account Deletion page.
